About Composition

Coenzyme Q10 is known as powerful antioxidant which is lipid soluble and it serves as cofactor in oxidative phosphorylation in the production of adenosine triphosphate. It is also involved in the metabolic process of cells. It also acts as antioxidant and prevents lipid peroxidation.

Tocotrienol is similar to that of vitamin E and possess super antioxidant property. It helps to reduce the adhesion of monocyte endothelial cell adhesion.

Mechanism of Action

Coenzyme Q 10 serves as important cofactor in mitochondrial electron chain. It accepts electrons from complex 1 and 2 which is important in the production of ATP.
Tocotrienol helps to supress inflammation and inhibits the enzyme HMG CoA reductase which helps in the synthesis of cholesterol biosynthesis.
